Hi Folks!

I know this sounds blasphemous but I think we all need to do a reality
check here. And I'll gladly stand to be corrected if I am wrong.

--- With regard to Cold Fusion

In my opinion, Cold Fusion was and is a novel chemical battery.

As long as transmutation occurs to corrupt the necessarily pure
constituents of the cells, then this contamination will inevitably
require replacement of these elements.

To my mind, this is a battery because it needs to be rebuilt after it
has served its purpose, whether it be current or heat as its output

The many reports indicate anomalous heat and sometimes this happens
for months, but in the end, the effect always dies as a result of
contamination.

At a conference at College Station, Dr. Bockrus said it best early on,
that he was far more interested in the transmutation effects than the
anomalous heating.

The amazing Gene Mallove has spent much time and effort promoting cold
fusion and he never ceases to amaze me with his energy and dedication
but I don't see much hope for cold fusion as an energy source simply
because the components must be replaced.
That is why I've not said much about it publicly because I know it has
taken on a church like frenzy like some of the Tesla devotees...<g>....

I could be wrong, but from all that I've read and with the many
discusions I've had on the subject, I don't think there is an error in
this estimation.

--- On Podletnekov Stimulated Superconductor Levitation

Consider this, we have a piece of superconducting material, either
rotating or stimulated by a surrounding coil.

Any mass placed ABOVE this material appears to lose approximately 3%
to 5% of its weight.

Any object placed BELOW this material does NOT experience a weight
loss.

I asked John Schnurer if he'd tested this and he said YES, there is NO
weight loss under such material.

Now, what is below the material that is not above the material?

Perhaps the magnetic field of the earth, undistorted by the stimulated
superconductor?

This would make the effect purely diamagnetic because it is repelling
against the earths magnetic field.

Therefore, again in my opinion, there is no true gravity effect.

We must take into consideration the flying frogs which were living
beings, all done with incredibly dense magnetic fields, but repellent
(diamagnetic) nonetheless.

Just my observations for the record.
