05/30/05 - More on the benefits of Cold and cellular piezoelectrics
Cold water from the deep precipitates on pipes to produce fresh water for irrigation. Application of cold to stimulate and heal the body. Application of cold to accelerate the growth cycles of plants.

05/25/05 - the Benefits of Cold
"You see, I apply cold temperatures to different parts of my body in three bastings. The third is the most complicated - I ice the terminuses of my lymphatic system. My body heals itself. Look at these hands," he says, opening and closing his fists. "I have no joint pain of any kind!"

05/22/05 - Lazar claims to have converted a vehicle to run on hydrogen
At his new home in rural New Mexico, Lazar has been working on a conversion kit that will turn any car into a hydrogen hybrid. His two vehicles have already been converted and can travel up to 450 miles on hydrogen, then switch automatically back to gasoline. Lazar wants to take it a step further.

05/22/05 - Harmoniously tuned atoms = zero resistance
Just as Keely stated. "Imagine you have an orchestra together, but everyone is playing their own tune, until they begin to follow a conductor. In a normal solid, every atom has its own behavior until very close to absolute zero. Then quantum mechanics takes over and dictates everyone to play the same tune." Torsional oscillator used by Moses Chan and Eun-Seong Kim to discover a new phase of matter.

05/17/05 - Magnetic blender for joint pains
I put 300 mg of Celtic salt in 1 liter of distilled water (does not affect the taste much), a few drops of Tamahi Calcium (which is probably some kind of "ORMUS gold") and ran this in the blender at high speed for 3 minutes. The first time I took this, I had a strong rush after only 10 minutes and ALL my joint pains vanished right there and then and never returned. That was weeks ago!

05/15/05 - Sonic Stirling to generate reliable electricity
The traveling-wave engine converts 18 percent of the heat source energy into electricity. The traveling-wave engine is a modern-day adaptation of the 19th century invention of Robert Stirling - the Stirling engine - which is similar to a steam engine, but uses heated air instead of steam to drive a piston. The traveling-wave engine works by sending helium gas through a stack of 322 stainless-steel wire-mesh discs called a regenerator.

05/15/05 - Temperature drives biological clock, not light
"It shows that the SCN synchronized to the temperature cycle. The temperature cycle entrained it. We fooled the clock by giving it a novel daily schedule, saying 'This isn't the end of the day. This is morning.'" Herzog's research also sought to disprove the notion put forth in 1998 that shining light on the backs of the knees would be enough to adjust circadian rhythm to a new time zone.

05/15/05 - Cell volume changes as it reacts to various stimuli/toxins
The silicon chip sensor measures electrical resistance. Cells are electrical insulators, while saltwater conducts electricity. When cells are put in a container of saltwater they displace some of the water, increasing the resistance within the container. A cell tends to swell in the presence of a toxin, displacing more of the saltwater, which measurably increases the container's electrical resistance.

05/15/05 - Vaporizing microbes using UV bathed titanium dioxide
When exposed to ultraviolet light, bacteria landing on a surface of titanium dioxide are converted to a vapour of carbon dioxide and water, along with harmless organics.

05/15/05 - Blood spinning to enhance and accelerate natural healing
But blood-spinning is different: small samples of a patient's blood are centrifuged to discard red blood cells and concentrate the platelets into platelet-rich plasmas (PRPs). When the platelets are concentrated to typically five times their normal level, calcium and the enzyme thrombin are added to the mix, which makes the platelets coagulate to form a clot-like gel. The platelets then start releasing the natural growth factors (NGFs) that accelerate healing, just as they would in a natural wound, but at five times the usual concentration. The gel can be applied to a wound or injected into the site of an internal injury.

05/01/05 - Lifespan foretold by elasticity of the eye
The aging process of the human body, he reported, can be measured easily by taking note of the change when the lens of the eye becomes less elastic, some time during middle life. Most persons become aware of the change at the age of 45 or 50, when the hardening lens can no longer make sufficient accommodation for reading. If this aging process, called presbyopia or "old-sightedness," occurs early, the individual's normal span of life is comparatively short.

05/01/05 - Ethanol production consumes 6 units of energy to produce 1 unit of energy
"In terms of renewable fuels, ethanol is the worst solution," Patzek says. "It has the highest energy cost with the least benefit."

05/01/05 - New louver type wind generator from Spain
The vanes are like louvers which close for maximum wind pressure and open on the opposite side for almost no resistance, thus a very efficient method of getting the most energy from the wind, kind of acting like a 'wind diode or check valve.'
