Was technology ever advanced before the 20^th Century?

The word “technology” has its roots in ancient Greek. 

In anthropology technology is defined as, “The body of knowledge available to a society that is of use in fashioning implements, practicing manual arts and skills, and extracting or collecting materials.”  So technology can be said to be ancient.  The question now becomes, “How advanced was ancient technology?”

As ancient writings surface from the sands in Northern Africa, the Middle East, Europe, Asia, India, Russia, South, Central, and North America; and cities over 11,500 years old are discovered off the coasts of Japan, Cuba, Indonesia, and India; and open-minded scientists systematically look for clues in these forgotten “anomalies,” a pattern begins to emerge that indicates ancient civilizations lived with highly advanced technologies.

The pyramids of Egypt are among the most enduring and perhaps the most obvious signs of advanced ancient technology, with the extensive man-made tunnels through miles of limestone underneath them[1].  The sheer size of the blocks, their precisely fitted interfaces, and the construction techniques that keep the pyramids from collapsing under their own weight demonstrate a highly advanced system of science and engineering.

Ancient cities all over the world, many submerged for over 11,500 years, demonstrate advanced planning, knowledge of sewer and water works, and knowledge of precise construction techniques.  For such large cities, there must have been a peaceful government, and at the least, methods and tools for planning such as writing, paper, and safe storage.  There also must have been infrastructure such as fire suppression, health services, schooling, agriculture, transportation and commerce.

Scientists in India have been investigating the ancient Rig Veda texts, once thought to be entirely mythological, now believed to be coded knowledge of quantum physics[2].  These texts describe airplanes (vimanas), nuclear blasts, missiles, and other advanced forms of technology.  Sometimes the technology is depicted in animal form or as divinity, as might be expected, for the remnants of science that survived thousands of years after its peak.  

Was there an advanced society with advanced science?  Many believe there was, and perhaps not so very long ago.  We need to take a closer look at what the ancients might have known.  It would seem that some of that ancient technology remained known for thousands of years.  The Sumerians record 10 planets, which correspond to all the presently known planets out to Pluto and one more beyond.  In November 14, 2003, a “10^th planet” (presently called a Kuiper Belt object and named Sedna) has been discovered[3].  It took an incredibly high-powered telescope to find it, as it is even smaller than Pluto.  How would the Sumerians know about this?  Our modern technology reveals far more than 10 “planets” in our solar system, but Uranus and Neptune were “discovered” within the past two hundred years.

There are many clues to suggest an ancient society once existed.  Here are just a few. 

Caduceus

The prevailing modern view is that such stories are myths.  The idea of two snakes fighting and then being caused to fall in love with each other due to the presence of Hermes’ magic wand does sound rather mythical.  But as the good historians note, nobody really knows where the symbolism of the caduceus, or staff of Hermes, originated.

It is known, however, that ancient Egyptians, Hindus, Americans, and perhaps other ancient cultures regularly used animals, a global symbolic language, to depict ancient technology.  It is also known that 2000 years ago the Parthians were making wet cell batteries near modern day Baghdad , Iraq .  How would modern science expect ancient cultures to describe the effects of a battery?

In the Aether Physics Model, the spin positions  of the Aether in which electrons  and protons  exist, as well as the electrons and protons themselves, could be described as having a snake-like appearance.  We could even describe the electrons as female snakes, and protons as male snakes.  A magic wand (conductive metal) placed between the snakes would encourage the two to climb aboard the wand and unite.

Nobody really knows where the caduceus originated, its origin being so far back in time.  But we do know that it has been a part of many ancient cultures.  We also know that the caduceus was a staff carried by Hermes (also known as Mercury), as he flew across great distances, at great speed, carrying his messages.  Isn’t it rather fortuitous that thousands of years ago a mythical god carried messages at great speeds across great distances and holding a staff, which modern science can interpret as electricity?  What great luck!  It sounds like Hermes could be a modern symbol for radio transmission, or even the World Wide Web.

So is it really a myth?  Electricity was known thousands of years ago, and ancient cities of grand proportions are being discovered on land and under sea that hasn’t been above water in over 11,500 years[7]. Considering the vast number of ancient megalithic structures spread over the face of the Earth, clearly we are witnessing the remnants of advanced ancient civilizations.  Perhaps the Aether Physics Model is the Rosetta stone that will help us better understand the secrets hidden in the Rig Veda, and in other ancient texts and pictographs that describe pre-historic technology in terms of zoomorphic symbolism.

The Ark of the Covenant

The Ark of the Covenant was built over 3000 years ago, and its apparent electrical properties killed a man named Uzzah.  It is interesting to note that even in King David’s time, God  was identified with the force of electricity; just as the Aether Physics Model shows that God is the force behind electromagnetism and gravity.

Did the ancients have access to computers or other methods for producing surface plots in cylindrical coordinates?  Is it mere coincidence that the Aether numbers  for the range  produce the following surface plot, resembling the cherubs on the top of the simulated ark above? 

Symbol of Time

Two spheres represent the dimensions of time in the Aether.  Nobody knows for sure when the hourglass was invented, and its similar geometry with the Aether unit  may be total coincidence.  But there is no doubt that the hourglass with its spherical representation is a fitting symbol for time.

There is considerable evidence and there are many valuable clues emerging, indicating that ancient cultures experienced advances in science far beyond the levels credited by modern scholars.  They are not to blame for the lack of credit, however, because they need hard evidence and cannot rely on speculation.

For nearly two thousand years it was forgotten that Greeks had made mechanical computers for calculating the positions of the planets and and other heavenly bodies.  The scholars and historians rightfully turned down any notion that the Greeks could have had such technology.  But that changed when the Antikethera mechanism[11] was found in an ancient Greek shipwreck.  It became acceptable to acknowledge that the Greeks had sophisticated mechanical computers, because now there was hard evidence.

It is for the researchers and discoverers to speculate, hypothesize, imagine, and even fantasize when necessary in order to uncover useful clues.  It only takes a few good clues, out of hundreds or thousands, to lead to a successful discovery.  The speculations and clues provided in this book are intended to inspire other researchers and discoverers.  But even if we do eventually discover hard evidence for an advanced, forgotten culture, the promise of the Aether Physics Model is to advance our modern culture toward an enduring, peaceful, and efficient civilization.
