What is not well known is that the pineal responds to magnetism and
light. Production of melatonin occurs only at night and only in darkness
and a pulsating magnetic filed will shut down the production of
melatonin just a light will. A steady state magnetic north pole field
will stimulate the production of melatonin and eliminate PMS as long as
field strength in the vicinity of the pineal is in the 400mg. range.
this can be accomplished by the right head band magnet but more is not
better. Dr. Rex Ritter in texas has done most extensive work on the
effect of EMR on the body and has laisd out the parameters fairly well.
