In short.. permeability links Oersteds to Guass, where permeability
is not a fixed constant. There are what are called "demagnetization
curves" that show the energy product , and the amout B-Field (guass)
needed to produce a given H-Field (oersteds). The relationship is
B=3DuH, and the flux density is related to the cross section area.. or
=A5 =3D BA. Without the material.. the H-Field is pretty darn low... and=
so
would be the BH product. So... Guass.. is needed in a sense to
create oersteds in a material. You could kind of say.. Guasses can
exist internal and external.. where huge H-Fields are mainly internal.
