Hi Ted!

As to the magnetics terminology, I simply quoted the results of the
Davis/Rawls experiments with living tissues. They clearly say there is
an error in what is taught as correct, that the true polarity is
opposite what is taught and so compasses are labelled as per the current
thinking, not based on the biological evidence.

"The North pole of a magnet is NOT the North-SEEKING pole, nor is the
South pole the South-SEEKING pole." (isn't the pointer in a compass
just a piece of magnetized metal?)

"In fact, the North-SEEKING pole of a magnet is ACTUALLY the South pole!
The South-SEEKING pole of a magnet is the North pole. The rule to
remember is OPPOSITES ATTRACT and SIMILARS REPEL."

Note, they didn't use an off the shelf compass, they used a normal
magnet and let it decide.

Don't like poles REPEL? Would not North repel North?

The label is just a 'duh' thing that does not bear out the reality of
LIKES REPEL...

All the compasses I have (2 of them) have only a thin pointer, one half
is blue, the other silver, with no label on the pointer itself. It is
after all a thin strip of magnetized metal.

Am I missing something here????

Since I haven't grown a 3 foot chicken as Walter Rawls told me they did,
I wouldn't know for certain, but I have no problem with his rationale as
written about in their several books...as to physical size, I'm 4th
generation Texan so am cornfed, 6 foot 1" and about 235, but working on
losing that....too easy for a heart attack as one gets older....I'm sure
some would love to see me kick off....but not just yet....I want my
coffin to just float up and away into space, courtesy of a gravity
repulsion ring....don't care who builds it, but I'd like to be an
instigator, a co-inventor or if need be, the inventor....<g>...so I'll
hang around another few months at least (unless 2000 gets us all).
