YOGA
Text: Yoga means Union - Union is Oneness. Obviously Oneness is Singular and yet Oneness has a dualistic quality in its expression. The qualities of Oneness are the pairs of what are called polar opposites (they *appear* to be separate, they are different in degree and are the same in kind - they are the opposite qualities/characteristics of Oneness). More than anything else Yoga is a way of Seeing. Seeing, like any 'single' thing it is singular and like every 'single' thing its expression has the dualistic Yin/Yang qualities Concentration-Focused-Localized-Intellect-Masculine... and Meditation-Open-NonLocal-Intuition-Feminine... When 'I' am involved in Seeing, there is a localization and Seeing is limited to this. When 'I' let go (when I am not identified with the whirl of the local mind) there is a 'global' Seeing which is there Naturally. Seeing is Doing - Intelligent action comes from Seeing. When Seeing is localized, action is prompted by Intellectual Intelligence. When Seeing is nonlocal, action is prompted by Intuitive Intelligence. The (OneDuality=UniVerse) Universal 'Whole' which is described as the Yoga/Union of Intellect and Intuition is Intelligence Itself and 'The Whole is greater than the sum of the parts'. Then Intelligent action comes from the Seeing Itself - It reveals Itself to Itself - It is Its own knowing. It is a 'Light unto Itself' and It is 'The Way, The Truth and The Light' - In the meditative arts this is called Enlightenment. (The problems/challenges/situations of life are still there and In the Light of Seeing One knows what to do about them - Seeing is Doing). (The Universal Whole is revealed when I do not identify - when I am neither Seeing Intellectually nor Intuitively - It is what has always been there and it is revealed when 'I' am absent - the more deeply 'I' let go - the more clearly the Light reveals The Way). Love, James There is no way 'to' Love Love is The Way
