VECTOR FILTER
Text: An electronic instrument that automatically adjusts a band-pass filter center frequency to coincide with the frequency determined by an external electronic input pulse (Keyphasor). Typically, a digital vector filter is used to automatically filter a vibration signal at rotative speed (1X) frequency, especially under transient rotor speed conditions. Among other functions, a vector filter provides the dc proportional signals necessary for Bode and polar plots.
