Authorities were mystified yesterday by a seven-state power failure that darkened homes, restaurants and traffic lights for millions of people from the Canadian to the Mexican borders. The blackout on Wednesday night ranged from a few seconds in some areas to several hours in others. May possibly have been caused by artificial scalar interferometry. Toronto Sun. Mar. 2, 1984.
