TRITONE RESONATORS BY KEYS

Would these keys appear on the chart with the notes given? > > T__|__C__|__N > > 1 Bb Db F A C > > 2 B D F# A# C# > > 3 C Eb G B D > > 4 C# E G# C D# > > 5 D F A C# E > > 6 D# Gb Bb D F > > 7 E G B D# F# > > 8 F Ab C E G Yes, all 12 chromatic notes are represented in the chart. Therefore you can build all 12 major and minor keys using the notes in the chart. This means all the enharmonic notes are accessible. > Terrestrial is Key of Bb (Bb D F) > Celestial is Key of C (C F A) > Neutral is Key of A (A E C) The Neutral must be the Key of A minor, and not A Major. The other two Keys must be Major in order to have the notes you have included. Key of A minor - root triad = A C E Key of A Major - root triad = A C# E That is to show you that the key must be a minor one and not major. Key of C major - the F A C notes represent the triad built on the 4th position of the scale. The key of C minor would contain Ab. This is also the case for the Key of Bb. The Bb D F notes represent the root triad. This means you do have access to all the enharmonic notes should you wish to mix them up. These are the rest of the notes in each of the keys you mention: Bb C D Eb F G A Bb = Key of Bb Major C D E F G A B C = C Major (notice the F triad beginning from 4th position) A B C D E F G A = A Minor The A minor, however is not as straightforward as the Majors. This is where Hughes may have come in with her assertion that the minors only went as far as the 5th - A B C D E.
