Text: "A specter haunting physics" Stanford University team continues to find evidence of fractional electric charge. Experiments used small balls of superconducting niobium. Out of 39 balls tested, nine had a positive one-third charge, five had a negative one-third charge, and the rest were neutral. Science News. 119(5), Jan. 31, 1981. p. 68-69.
