Text: An instrument which displays an XY presentation of vibration frequency (X) versus vibration amplitude (Y). This presentation is called a vibration frequency spectrum and is usually presented on a CRT, with hard copy capability, plotter outputs, and/or computer interface connections. Also called spectrum analyzer.
