SERVICE TO OTHERS
Text: "In this vast world, trees yield fruit. If you inquire into the truth whether the tree yields fruit for its own sake, you will see that the tree yields fruit for men and others. However sweet its fruit may be, the fruit tree does not eat its own fruit, but yields fruit to help others. Many rivers flow, but the rivers do not drink their own water. They flow with water in order to help others. Every individual should recognize why the human body has been given. As trees do not eat their own fruit, rivers do not drink their own water, cows do not drink their own milk, the body has not been given to man to enjoy pleasures for himself. Every man should recognize the fact that God has given the body to help others." -Sri Sathya Sai Baba "Resolve to be good and loving from this moment. Do your duties gladly and well, to the satisfaction of your well-wishes. If you feel sorry for the wrongs you did, that itself will please God and He will pardon you. If you endeavor to turn a new leaf and become better, God will shower His Grace on you." Sri Sathya Sai Baba SSS:Vol.X page 155
