Text: A scientific fact is the close agreement of a series of observations of the same phenomenon. A few replications of a new fact are sufficient. A thousand failures to replicate a difficult experiment does not invalidate a scientific fact. Science does not depend on ballots, votes, or ratios of successes to failures.
