A friend of mine has also provided me with a scale which differs by only one note from the Treasures of Mechanical Music scale. My friend says that note 11 should be G#, i.e. not G. He also advises me that this and other scale errors have been noted by the publishers and will be corrected in the event of the republication of Treasures. I have tabulated the three sets of scales side by side [below] from which it can be seen that there are material differences in the scales which cannot be accounted for by transposition.
