Text: One of the Babylonian musical instruments mentioned by Daniel in chap. 111. v. 5, 7, 10, 15. It is the transalation in the English version of the Bible of the word sabeca. Some authors identify it with the sambuka of the Greeks and Romans, a kind of harp.
