Text: "Wireless signaling system." Utilizes a shielded long-wire antenna, buried in the ground and parallel to its surface, for transmission or reception. It also determines the direction at the same time. Best incorporation is a series of radial antennas radiating outward from a common center, so that the antenna can be at right angles to the incoming or exiting wavefront. U. S. Patent no. 1,220,005. Mar. 20, 1917.
