Radio Umschau

Text: "Overcoming Gravity." Description, with photograph, of an experiment by Polish scientists, Kowsky and Frost trying to replicate another one by Meissner of Telefunken. By the oscillations of several kilowatts, at protracted exposure, an 800 % volume increase was induced on a clear crystal. The lightened crystal carried the apparatus which oscillated it as well as a weight of 25 kilograms suspended from it, floating free at a height of about 2 meters above the floor of the laboratory. Experiment replicated and described by Jerry G. Gallimore. Story was also carried in September 1927 issue of Science and Invention which in a subsequent issue pretended the matter was a hoax. Radio Umschau. Frankfurt A-M., Germany (Federal Republic of Germany). 14, April 1, 1927. p. 218-220.
