QUADRATURE MOTION COMPONENT (QUAD)
Text: The Cartesian value of the 1X vibration vector that lags the in-phase portion of the signal by 90 degrees. This may be expressed as: Quad = A cos (0-90) = A sin, where A is the peak-to-peak amplitude, and 0 is the phase angle of 1X vector. The quadrature and in-phase signals are used to generate a polar plot with an XY plotter or recorder.
