Text: "Letters to the editor: Ball lightning." July 28, 1973. Rabaul, Papua-New Guinea. Ping pong ball of lightning observed to emerge from a cloud, approach and split into several fingers which climbed, then reversed themselves to again form the ball, which disappeared back into the cloud. Scalar electromagnetics appear to sometimes involve incidents of the localized reversal of time flow. This could possibly explain this peculiar incident. Weather. 29(8), Aug. 1974. p. 134.
