Text: from program Ancient Mysteries 3/26/95 concerning exploration into "vents" leading from Queen's Chamber. Shafts appear to be 8" x 8". First 6' is horizontal thereafter goes up at 40°. Approximately 40' into the north shaft it turns left and was not explored bwyond this point. North shaft also contained remnant of pipes used 100 years ago to poke into shaft. The south shaft is identical to th enorth but does not turn a corner. The Upuaut crawling machine clombed into this shaft for nearly 200' before encountering a limestone block sealing the shaft. There are no outlets to these shafts. The inner opening did not exist prior to being broken open circa 1879. Therefore the shafts were sealed on both ends during construction.
