PROBLEMS, DISMISSING
Text: "Working on your problems only focuses more of your attention and emotion on the issues you want to get rid of. This will have the opposite effect you hope to achieve. The more you energize the issue with attention and emotion, the more intense it will become. I do not suggest you ignore or resist any problem you perceive you have. Rather it is a process of looking at it, allowing it to speak to you then pass away. You become able to allow it to go by reminding yourself who you are and letting go of the value you have previously placed on the underlying fear. Both resisting and working on the problem emphasize the control you acknowledge it has over you. Being able to look at it and dismiss it is a disavowal of the illusion of being self victimized and an acknowledgment of your Divinity." Dialogue on Awakening, page 156
