Text: "Some U.S. Tesla Patents misleading." Patent wrappers related to Nikola Tesla's patent applications reveal that some of his U.S. patents, as released, do not properly or completely explain his inventions. These patent wrappers reveal: 1) principles and the construction of mechanical oscillators, bladeless turbines and pumps; 2) explanation of standing waves, including methods of varying the period of oscillation for remote detection of speed and location of moving vessels; 3) discussion of how with signals of different wavelengths, "stationary" waves can be made to travel slowly over the globe, as though the globe were perfectly smooth; 4) at frequencies of less than 6 cycles per second, energy is not transmitted, as such, but rather the earth acts as a capacity; 5) separate grounds are used in relation to the stationary wave to obtain a difference in potential; 6) low temperature research involving flat spiral coils results in increased intensity and duration of oscillators. The information is obtained as: "Dr. Nikola Tesla, Selected patent wrappers from the National Archives", released by the Tesla Book Company. Planetary Association for Clean Energy Newsletter. 3(1), June 1981. p. 29.
