Text: Picture a step pyramid with nine connecting steps. This represents the nine levels of consciousness cycles of the Mayan calendar. Starting at the bottom, the first level of time is made up of 16.4 billion years, divided into 13 equal sections of time of 1.26 billion years each. Seven of these 13 sections are "days" and six sections are "night." 1st Level: 16.4 billion years 2nd Level: 820 million years 3rd Level: 41 million years 4th Level: 2.5 million years 5th Level: 125,000 Years 6th Level: 6,250 Years 7th Level: 312 Years 8th Level: 15.6 Years 9th Level: .78 Years Each of the nine main levels is 20 times shorter than the previous one. However, the same amount of change happens, but in a shorter period of time. If life seems to be speeding up, this interview gives an understanding of why.
