MAXWELL'S LAWS

Text: The magnetic fields surrounding parallel currents in the same direction will react upon each other in such a way that the conductors will tend to move together. In the case of parallel currents in opposite directions, the fields between the two conductors will be in the same direction and will merge together, thus tending to push the conductors apart. The magnetic fields around two conductors at an angle will react upon each other in such a way as to tend to bring the conductors parallel, and with the currents flowing in the same direction.
