LYDIAN MODE
Text: The Lydian Mode is created from notes of the Major Scale. Specificaly, Lydian Mode uses the notes of the Major Scale, starting on the fourth note of the Major Scale. Example: If you have a C Major Scale (which contains the notes C, D, E, F, G, A, B, C), to create a Lydian Mode you would start on the fourth note (F). So, your new F Lydian Mode would consist of the notes F, G, A, B, C, D, E, F. This mode is has a slightly exotic, major sound when played over certain chords. http://jrsmoots.com/lesson13.htm
