What essentially clinched it for me, regarding the reality of actual 'flying saucer' type craft was the viewing of the film footage from STS-48. This was http://www.ufoevidence.org/topics/sts-48.htm unobstructed film footage from the open Shuttle-Bay doors, with the camera focused to infinity. I examined the film footage over and over until I was convinced that those so-called 'particles' were not 'ice crystals' but super large spacecraft viewed from significant distance [still visible] with the naked eye. Tesla http://www.frank.germano.com/nikolatesla.htm did indeed mention that he could provide propulsion of 'flying craft' without wings or any visible means of propulsion. This would mean that this type of propulsion was within the realm of known 'physics,' but would not be dependent upon aerodynamics as we have known it." Tesla referred to what he called 'positive mechanical action.' This is interesting, because this would mean that his intention and his motivation for developing 'electrical' power might somehow be linked to his first priority, namely, 'flight.' Let me remind you, that all of this was done, prior to the Wright Brothers and their 'invention.' Thus Tesla was able to 'see' prior 'art' in the form of 'novel' ideas, even before he developed his own 'methodology.' I now understand why the FBI and the 'Government' were interested in viewing Tesla's notes and papers upon Tesla's death. They 'knew' and were 'aware' of Tesla's claims, since they were recorded in the local [New York] papers. Tesla had good relations with the Germans, and thus may have imparted significant 'source' documentation to them regarding his 'discoveries.' Tesla had repeatedly tried to 'influence' the US Government regarding his 'inventions' for military purposes, but seemingly to no avail. I suspect that he was under constant 'surveillance' for his efforts at attempted communication. Thus the 'suppression' of Nikola Tesla as a 'historical' [erased] figure takes on NEW meaning. The powers that be, require that Tesla remain 'forgotten,' to prevent any 'directional' influence back to his 'original' prior art [regarding his flying saucer] device. The 'disinformation' and the 'mystery' surrounding his 'inventive' life now takes on NEW meaning and direction. Obviously, he was 'the' greatest 'inventor' [creative] 'genius' who ever lived. Were it not for Margaret Cheney and Marc Seifer we would probably know very little about his [personal] life. With the established published works by these authors we have a compelling dynamic regarding his 'foundational' framework incorporating his private personal humane characteristics as a human being.
