Text: "Tapping the zero-point energy." Despite their unpopularity, most modern theories claim the vacuum consists of fluctuating energy. Recent advances in these theories and nonlinear thermodynamics open the possibility of cohering this energy. This could be verified by repeatedly producing ball lightning in the laboratory.
