Text: His Generator was invented to multiply the vibrations under the disturbance of equilibrium by mediums of different specific gravities, air as one - water as the other. From 1882 to 1884 his Generator was six feet long and correspondingly wide and high. Its arrangement was not automatic and therefore not mechanically useful. He was able after this to dispense with complicated mechanisms by fine adjustments.
