Text: FIGHTING INFECTION THE "WHITE BREAD" WAY

I finally found a use for white bread; I don't eat it because there is no nutritional value in it, but this is right from the horse's mouth (or the dentist).
I lost a filling in a tooth last week and it became infected. My gums surrounding it got so swollen that my cheek bulged out and it was too painful to eat. After suffering for a week, I figured I'd better get it pulled so I called my dentist. I called him yesterday and unfortunately he was leaving today for a holiday vacation and wouldn't be back til the 2nd week of January. However, he told me how to draw out the infection, reduce the swelling, and stop the pain until he returns. This is what he said:
Take a slice of white bread and tear out a piece from the center, about 1 inch in diameter. Squeeze it into a tight little ball and force it into the tooth where the filling fell out. The yeast in the white bread will draw out the infection.
Well I tried it. It took about an hour but that bread sucked up all the infection, which caused the swelling. I am pain free right now, no swelling, I can eat again, and I saved a tooth I thought would have to be pulled....it only works with white bread, I tried wheat first but nothing happened so I had to go out and buy some white.
