IN-PHASE (DIRECT) MOTION COMPONENT
Text: (IN z) The Cartesian value of the 1X vibration vector that is in-phase with the vibration transducer angular location. This may be expressed as : IN z=A cos O, where A is the peak-to-peak amplitude, and O is the phase angle of the 1X vector. In-phase and quadrature signals are used to generate a polar plot with an XY plotter or recorder.
