Text: "Unidentified phenomena." South Pacific. On December 5, 1956 at 06:43 G.M.T. there appeared a harsh, brilliant flash, bluish white in appearance, covering the entire night sky. The flash of light lasted for approximately 1-1/2 sec. Possible artificial scalar electromagnetic origin. Marine Observer. 27, 1957. p. 209.
