HORN
Text: A metal wind instrument, formed of a continuous tube twisted into a curved shape for the convenience of holding. It is furnished with a mouthpiece and a bell. The mouthpiece is moveable, so as to allow additional pieces of tubing called crooks, to be added to its length in order to alter the pitch, and the bell is sufficiently wide to admit the hand of the player. The horn sounds the harmonics of the fundamental note of its tube.
