Text: Redefining Government and All People Are Equal Q: Yes, I wanted to ask you: do you actually believe that we are the government? B: Yes. You created it; you defined it. Q: We created it? I'm 75 years old, and I was born in this countryŠ B: Yes. Q: Š and we didn't create anything. B: Yes, you did. Q: No, we didn't. B: Yes, you did. Q: Why, then, is some of the government sleeping in the streets? B: You have created a type of society that limits itself in many different ways, and your government is no exception as a reflection of all the different ways the mainstream of your society also chooses to limit itself. When we say you created your government, we mean first of all that you have been incarnated many times, and are responsible for many of the creations directly that you do not think you are. Secondly, the longer you support an idea -- that is the same as creating it. You continue to create it by simply believing that there does not have, or can not be, any other way. That you do not feel equal to it, that you do not feel you can communicate with it. Therefore that is saying that you believe it is what it is, and that you have no power to interact with it; that you are not equal to it. And therefore you are creating it to continue to be the way it was created long ago. Every moment of time is different than any other moment of time. So every moment is its own creation. What happens in the next moment has nothing to do with what happened in the last moment unless you think those two moments are connected. That connection is an illusion. This is what you are all learning. You create your government, because you are constantly supporting the idea every given moment that you think your government is something you cannot communicate with. You think they run your lives. Therefore, you are giving them the power to do so, by not standing up and saying that you will take back responsibility, that they are an idea and an institution to be of service, not to run anything. Q: But if you stand up, they'll shoot you down. B: That is your belief. Q: No, that happenedŠ B: It happens because that is those people's beliefs. Q: First World War veterans were shot down. B: Understand something: the society that you live in has many understandings and misunderstandings of the reason for why things happen. There are no victims. You experience the reality you experience because you have been taught to believe that that is the only way reality can be. Q: Not me! I haven't been taught nothing! B: You have been taught to experience whatever reality you are experiencing. Q: I tell you one thing: I am very sorrowful for the poor people in this country. B: But understand thisŠ Q: And they have notŠ B: If youŠ Q: There is no conduit between the people and the governmentŠ got to forget that nowŠ B: Yes, there is. It is up to you to choose to believe that there is, and then you will find one. But you will not find one as long as you choose to believe there isn't one, for you will be blinded. And you will create your own obstacles, and you will not see the conduits that are there. Because you refuse to believe that they exist -- that is the only reason you cannot see them. Because you refuse to believeŠ Q: How long is it going to take to form this conduit? B: The very next instant, if that is the way you believe. There have been many individuals who have formed some conduits. As a society it is our perception that your overall energy, generally for the majority of your civilization, will find these conduits within the next thirty of your years. That is the way your society is heading. Otherwise, none of you would even be exploring the ideas we are talking about this evening at all, because you would not be aware that such things are even possible. This interaction would never occur if you did not somewhere deep within you believe there must be a way -- and be searching for it. That searching in itself means there is a way and that you will find it. All you need to do is begin to believe that there is and you will find it quicker. Q: The American people are the greatest people on the face ofŠ B: ALL people are equal!! Q: That's right. And they are giving their life's blood for these people. We have nothing but Asians and everybody else in this country that don't even speak English. B: May I remind you, that if you assist individuals who may find themselves to be physically starving, then perhaps they can return the idea in that they have allowed you to assist them in their moment of need and so aided your country's spiritual starvation. Q: I believe that, yes. B: Therefore you are both equal and sharing. And it is by sharing in that way, and by alleviating physical AND spiritual starvation that you will all blend and be abundant and fed on all levels of existence. There is a way, if you believe there is a way. If you do not believe there is a way, you are defeated before you begin. Q: That's right. B: Thank you. Q: Thank you. B: Sharing!
