This is a curious phrase implying more than meets the eye. "Energy", what is it? Some years ago a person I knew working in health issues spoke of "energy" that she could manipulate. I think she was doing "Energy Healing" or something similar in name. Every time she said the work "energy" it ruffled my feathers because there was no definition of "energy". Several times the term has come up on this forum in relation to healing and general physics - liek the quote above. If we stick with Keely's SVP paradigm and terminology we perhaps have a definition that everyone can accept and work with. We all concur energy is within and about an object be that object a human body, an atom or a star. If we look at a molecular object, let's say a piece of matter composed of many atoms joined together as molecules, we know from our studies this piece of matter is also composed of electrons, photons, quarks, etc. As long as the piece of matter is in one piece the only "energy" manifested are the natural vibrations of the mass itself as also the atoms, electrons, photons, etc. So in this instance the energy is manifested as vibratory phenomena of a low intensity and subtle form. However if we render this piece of matter in such a way as to sever ionic and other types of bonds BETWEEN the various subatomic particles - other forms of energy are released. The "energy" that was used to hold the piece of matter together has been neutralized, reverted and liberated. But what is it that has been released? What is this new form of energy? A physicist could list a slew of energetic "particles" - all released from within the confines of what once was an ordinary piece of matter. So two things have occured to our bland lump of matter. The condition that held the many pieces together was neutralized then reconditioned into another state where these dismembered particles mutually repulsed from each other. And it is this shifting of the conditions from adherence to repulsion that establishes an "energy" that may be of useable form. This process goes on all the time as eveidenced by materials that constantly degass, sublimate, evaporate, disintegrate, etc. It is a natural process but one that can be manipulated and controlled as is for instance in your car's engine or in your own body where solid foods are disintegrated and assimilated into useable forms. The energies involved in this process are all vibratory. It is a vibratory condition that binds elements together into larger masses of atoms and molecules. It is through manipulating the chord or signature of these vibrations that its state of attraction or repulsion is enhanced or neutralized. Certain chords or waveforms will have certain effects on other chords. It is the study of these chords and their effects we must devote research energy, time and funds to. What governs these chords or signatures? The laws of harmony as evidenced in and through music theory. Lots of engineers have studied lots of vibrations but very few have looked at the effects of these vibrations (as chords). And that is what this lady meant when she mentioned working with "energy". The human body (and everything else) has its own signature and it is in manipulating this signature that changes can be made. The signature is manipulated sympathetically with an another vibratory influence - and in no other way. Technically the process is one of modulation, refraction, reflection and sympathetic entrainment (resonance), etc.
