Text: Emotions and Spirituality and Peace Q: Are you familiar with a planet called ( --?) B: Not by your terminology. What meaning has it for you, emotionally? Q: I feel like I am making contact with the inhabitants there. B: In what form? Q: Form? B: Your contact. Emotional? Mental? Q: Mental. B: What feeling, emotionally, in that sense, do you feel you are identifying with in that contact? What feeling of service in that way, allows you to feel that contact in yourself? Q: I identify... as an identity... with where they come from. B: What feeling, emotionally, does that feeling of contact mentally with them provide within you? Q: Their feeling that Earth sometimes is similar to their planet. B: What -- if I may be so bold as to continue in that way to repeat myself -- what feeling do you create within yourself with respect to this idea of contact mentally, that allows you to be in touch with that portion of yourself that tells you what purpose this contact serves? What feeling within you -- what chord, what idea, what vibration, what harmonies, what disharmonies, what emotions, what pictures, what images, what mentality, within you? What is spurred? What is moved? What is created? Q: No feeling is created within me. B: No feeling!? None whatsoever? Q: Maybe a feeling of familiarity with that planet. B: Familiarity. Is that not a feeling? Does that not conjure in you, feelings? Q: Yes, some. B: All right. Then may I suggest that first of all, the initial reason for the contact is to allow those feelings to blossom a little bit more. Understand if you will, that you have touched here upon an idea now being explored: one of the main similarities between that idea and this planet you call your civilization of Earth at this time, will be the recognition that the idea of communication with other civilizations at this time who are interacting with your civilization, will involve not only the idea of mentality, not only the idea of intellectuality, but also the idea of emotionality. Now for the most part, your civilization at this time has just begun to realize that it is not in that way -- for the most part -- among the intellectual ideas, among the intellectual inhabitants of your planet, who are allowing themselves to be willing to understand that the contacts are in that way, real. Many of the individuals upon your planet in your society are not willing to allow validity between the communication going on between many members of your society and other civilizations simply because they think that such contact only involves intellectuality, mentality, and no emotionality - and no, what they would term to be, spirituality. No invoking of the idea within yourself of the stirring of your own consciousness that moves you to understand your own emotionality. Understand in that way that that is because at this time the ideas of emotionality and "spirituality" are generally not looked at, outside of the idea that you call religion. And they feel in that way that if such a contact cannot occur without the idea of religion involved, it can not be valid or real, nor of any importance to them in that way. Therefore understand that the similarity between your society at this time and the reason for the idea of the mental contact will be the allowance of the demonstration that along with the mentality and the intellectuality, will come the stirring of the birth of the emotionality, the feelings, which will then -- then, then, then -- allow your mass consciousness to blend within it the idea that will lead through this emotionality in that way. Through your feelings will you observe the blending of the mentality and the emotionality in such a way that you will then perceive the total, the entire idea of the consciousness that is, in that way, contacting this civilization at this time. Do you follow me? Q: Emotions cause great distress in the world. B: Because they -- your world -- has viewed them through judgment. Emotions, in and of themselves, in their natural state, do not cause distress. No emotion, naturally, causes distress. Separation from that emotion, lack of willingness to allow yourself to live through the purpose that the emotion has created, is what causes the distress. Even anger, when allowed to be natural in that way, will only last approximately fifteen of your seconds. Natural anger -- if I may use that terminology -- always leaves you standing more clear-sighted about your own path and where you stand within the rest of your civilization. It has nothing to do with the idea of rage, hatred, distrust, jealousy, envy, and all of the other ideas that you ascribe to anger, which have nothing at all to do with it, whatsoever. They are all created from the idea of judgment: judgment and separation based upon what you feel about the anger -- upon the creation of artificial guilt which you then feel when you create anger for yourself, assuming anger to be negative in and of itself. Emotions, at no time in any of your history have ever in that way caused distress, but only your separation, your lack of willingness to integrate all of the portions of your personality within yourself, and the judgment upon those emotions, are what are responsible for the idea you call distress. Do you follow me? Q: I'm talking about in regard to the destruction of this world -- the starvation, the wars... B: Understand again -- so are we. There is no differentiation. It is not the emotionality, it is the judgment upon the emotionality which causes the strife. If your individuals upon your civilization were willing to allow themselves to experience totally all the emotionality that they create for themselves, there would be no war, there would be no starvation, there would be no distress. Because they would be living through their emotionality, not denying that it exists within them. Not separating themselves from it and therefore giving themselves nowhere to turn, except into their hatred, their rage, and their selfishness. Q: Having no emotion can cause peace. B: Understand in that way, that knowing yourself as peace, knowing yourself as unconditional love, will give you a civilization of peace. Love is peace. There is no separation between the two. Peace is caused from the allowance of unconditional love. Recognize in that way that every individual is his or her own universe. Each individual is his or her own vibratory level of existence. You strike your own chord and vibrate in harmony to the tune that you play for yourself. The tune you play for yourself is the reality you allow yourself to perceive. What you allow yourself to perceive is what you think other people are perceiving, in that way. Understand that to know yourself as that vibration, to allow yourself to recognize the idea that you are the vibration of love, you are the vibration of peace, will allow you to then participate within this civilization by allowing yourself to be an example of that idea, so that other individuals may then choose that avenue also for themselves. Understand as we have said many times: you do not get peace by hating war, you get peace by loving peace. If you hate war you are supporting the idea of the energy of war. If you love peace then hate and war have nothing to do with your reality. And then that much more quickly can your civilization allow itself to recognize that it's own creation, in and of itself, was from unconditional love, and that is why you are given the freedom of choice to choose the idea of supporting the vibration in that way, of negativity, or positivity.
