ELECTRICITY, PASTOR
Text: 11/19/04 We've been taught to accept the notion that 'electricity responds to certain 'laws' and 'fundamentals'. But the truth is, that none of us really understands 'electricity' at all, we simply 'accept' certain 'facts,' because http://www.electrical-contractor.net/ESF/Why%20Electricity%20is%20Impossible%20to%20Understand.htm these 'facts' represented in 'Ohms law [E=IR] appear to demonstrate 'verifiable' value. In other words these 'values' can be measured and applied to certain principles 'consistently,' thus enabling us to 'test' circuits and other electronic 'values.' But in spite of this---we really don't 'know' what electricity is. We [simply] believe what we experience at face value. All the Best, Leslie R. Pastor PS: Bill Beaty is an interesting 'engineer' with interesting insights. Bill's answers will surprise and intrigue you, if not fascinate http://www.eskimo.com/~billb/miscon/whatis.html you. Also our first Postmaster General Benjamin Franklin who dabbled in 'electricity' provided some valuable information in his own right.
