DUAL VOTING
Text: A concept which requires that two independent inputs agree before any action is taken. Typically, this function may be incorporated in a monitor whereby two transducer input signals must both measure an amplitude value which exceeds a set point (usually the Danger set point only) before an actual alarm condition is indicated by the monitor. If only one transducer input indicates a value exceeding the set point, then no alarm is initiated in the monitor.
