Calkin, M. G.

Text: "Linear momentum of quasistatic electromagnetic fields." Gives the transverse vector potential of a static system a physical meaning. At a point x, this potential represents the net mechanical impulse one must exert to bring a unit point charge slowly from infinity to that point. American Journal of Physics. 34(10), Oct. 1966. p. 921-925.
