Text: An arrangement of piping and brackets which are installed on a machine foundation at various locations for the purpose of hot alignment measurements. Proximity probes observing exposed shaft areas or targets on the machine casing are attached to the brackets which (through circulation of water) provide a thermally stable reference for the alinement measurement.
