Baldelli, [Madame].

Text: "Large fireball." November 1, 1864. Florence, Italy. White globe of fire many times larger than the full moon seen hanging almost motionless in the air, lighting up a large portion of the surrounding heavens, then vanished after one minute, leaving below it a similar ball of fiery orange. Possibly a natural scalar interferometry effect. Astronomical Register. 3, 1865. p. 53.
