Text: The idea was first posted on KeelyNet in regards to a series of patents with numbers to follow. 1,730,336 1,730,337 1,941,593 It is a system in which a vertical pipe is filled with water, the pipe is equipped with a foot valve at the bottom which only allows water to come into the pipe and not exit it. A piezoelectric hammer or other suitable source of vibration is affixed to the pipe and is set to such a frequency as to create a standing wave in the water column. As the water vibrates, it creates a suction on the one side of the wave and water comes in thru the check valve. As the wave reverses, the increase in the pressure closes the foot valve, trapping the water in the pipe.
