Text: Balance refers to the relative loudness of the two speakers used in stereo listening. Balance can be set at several points in a component system (FM-tuner outputs or power-amplifier inputs), but final balance is adjusted by means of the balance control on the amplifier and makes both speakers sound equally loud when heard from the listener's location.
