Apsel, D.
Text: "Gravitation and electromagnetism." Proposes a new theory of gravitation and electromagnetism based on the Bohm-Aharonov effect and experiment. The theory predicts that even in a field-free region the potentials can alter the phase of a wave function and the lifetime of a charged particle. The Bohm-Aharonov experiment observes the shift in the phase of the wave function. A recent storage ring experiment may have shown the second predicted effect. Scalar electromagnetics views mass and inertia as due to and consisting of trapped scalar resonance waves. Thus electromagnetics and gravitation are directly connected by artificial potentials. Apsel's work is close to this view. General Relativity and Gravitation. 10(4), Mar. 1979. p. 297-306.
