ARGENTAN
Text: Solder for Argentan (German Silver). A composition consisting of argentan and more or less zinc is used for this. The proportions vary very much, but, as regards durability and solidity of the solder, it is best to take as little zinc as possible. Argentan by itself is well suited for soldering iron and steel articles. The Techno-Chemical Recipe Book edited chiefly from the German Philadelphia; Henry Baird & Co., 1886, 1892 810 Walnut Street
