On the subject of killing organisms,
An inventor (he designed the laser tank for the military many years ago)
noticed that ozone created with a small flyback transformer would be the
perfect way to clean swimming pools without chemicals.
The idea was simple, use a vacuum cleaner to force ozone into the pool
water. Ozone was sucked into the vacuum and the output tube would be
placed in the pool under the water. He claimed in a few minutes, the
water would be bacteria free.
I can not prove or disprove his claims.
