the principle is sound.. ozone is used for water
purification/sterilization. it'd be more efficient, though, to pump the
ozone into the pipes going to or coming from the filter and pump.. the
advantage of chlorine is that it is fairly evenly distributed over the
entire body of water, ozonation would only be enough if the water
exchanged fairly quickly or otherwise spread the ozonated water
throughout the pool evenly. another thing to remember is that ozone isn't
something you want to be breathing, so if you ozonate, it should be
somewhere away from the pool itself.. again i think the filter/pump would
be the best place. any comments?
