That makes sense Steve and thanks Charles for posting that url. They
probably couldn't pay for their server though the name is still valid.
I'll give J.W. a call and see what we can do to help...they need that
site!
I know J.W. doesn't have a clue on computers...<g>...perhaps they have
all their files and such saved so it could be moved over to another
server or paid for on the one they used to have.
J.W. said there was a problem with the finances when some checks were
written by certain parties for personal expenses....by the time it was
discovered, rent and other bills were past due...he was really worried
about folding...that was when I first heard of it around
Christmas...that's when Joe Champion said he'd just 'made' $78,000.00 in
alchemical gold so I asked if he could donate $5,000 or so to them. He
had done so a couple of years before but declined this time.
At any rate, they sure could use some help. I don't know how much it
keeps to make the place run, and I know they sell memberships,
subscriptions and books, but they also have rent, utilities, insurance
and such, possibly one or two salaries...I just don't know...anyway,
thanks again for the insights...I'll pass on what I find...
