For a start I'd like to say that I believe it would be prudent to first
discover if there is any interest amongst this discussion group (besides
yourself, Jerry, Norm, and myself) in pursuing this matter. Personally I
don't see much point in gearing up towards a project funding such as this
if out of the 142 members of this discussion list there are only 4
interested people. I for one would dearly like to here from the other
members of the list BEFORE getting too far out the gate.
As far as hooking up a Clem engine a generator, I'd just like to see the
machine self run at this stage - under no load. I'm sure if this could be
accomplished there would be virtually no problem in finding funds for
applications projects.
As a matter of interest at this stage I'd like to send out a call to all
those on the list interested in this project: Could everyone please post
your response to the idea of contributing to this project. If we could
simply get an idea of the viability of this proposal we'de be better
positioned to understand if it is a possible avenue to take. I have started
a new thread, "Clem Engine Project" to discover exactly what we are dealing
with in terms of possible contribution funding.
Jerry, I understand you have something on at the moment that potentially
limits your commitment to such an endeavor. I like your reference to " The
Fly". Applying this concept to people (as components in a system) can be
just as viable, as I'm sure you're aware.
Regards, Bill.
