Tesla Light?

Hi Folks!

Here is an email that was sent recently, does anyone have any
information about it? I've never heard of such a thing and there is
nothing that I've seen in all the writings and lectures of Tesla that
point to such a device.
======================
I am looking for information on the generator Tesla developed and was
used in the Korean war. It was the size of your hand and produced a very
bright light. It was top secret and once used was then destroyed,so as
not to fall into enemy hands. Any help would be appreciated.
===================
My response at this point;

I think you have fallen victim to another new age rumor. The field is
replete with such rumors that can never be tracked because they simply
never happened.

I'd base my investigations on Tesla's own writings and stay away from
the many out there who, in my considered opinion, are making up such
sensational and non-factual stories. That's why the stories can't be
tracked down to any degree of detail because they simply never happened.

For years now, the alt science arena has become infested with people who
recognize that they can use such stories to make a living, whether
selling books, lecturing or promising plans or devices that never come
to fruition.

The most recent disease is the claims by some that Moray, Hubbard,
Hendershot, Coler, Testatika and many others used radioactive elements.
It is a total distortion of what little is known by certain parties who
are promoting their own agenda and trying to make a buck on the
gullibility of the newbies in the field and the openness of the
Internet.

Many of us are extremely concerned because people are not reading the
ORIGINAL documents, but instead relying on this new age, imaginary crap
as being the 'answer'...though none of these people who are making this
claim have remotely succeeded in duplicating any of the machines they
claim to have figured out, even with radium, though they claim to have
done so in their quest for recognition, fame or money.

So, my advice would be to take what you hear and read with a huge grain
of salt unless you have some degree of technical description or can
reference it to something that the actual inventor wrote about, not
someones interpretation and spook claims that are designed to sew more
mischief and further muddy the waters.

Over the last couple of years, this hardball approach has resulted in
many nasty letters from the true believers who just take anything as
absolutely true because 'whoever' said so, the more outrageous, the more
believable. It is like the UFO infection has seeped into alt science
because nothing has EVER been proven there and those people are
expanding now their 'want to believe' attitude to something more
technical and therefore even more mysterious when the person hasn't the
slightest understanding of either science or electronics.

So, slings and arrows will come, but its the truth, there isn't a
working free energy device as a circuit that is available for anyone to
buy or build at this time, but some experiments and many theories point
to the inevitability of it. What we all have to do is keep focused and
quit wasting time with those who are trying to impose their views to
alter history. The pieces of the puzzle are many and in time we will
see that final link that will clearly point to how to build a working
device, nothing like seeing it, holding it in your hands and USING IT in
your daily life to verify the reality of it.
